Admin Interface: Analysis Data

Analysis data is primarily managed by clients but, if necessary, the admin interface is capable of some level of management.

Snapshots

The Snapshots page lists every snapshot that has been uploaded to the server. Snapshots cannot be created from the admin interface. You must sync an analysis database in the client to create one.

Snapshots can be edited only until they are finalized. Finalized snapshots are read-only. By design, if you are pushing a snapshot from a client, it has probably been finalized.

When viewing a snapshot you can download:

  • Snapshot File Contents: The file contents uploaded with the snapshot, if present.
  • Snapshot Contents: The compressed contents of the snapshot.
  • Analysis Cache: The analysis cache file, if any was uploaded.

Warning

Deleting snapshots is rarely the right choice. Clients with local copies will typically re-upload deleted snapshots on the next sync anyway. Remove local project files first if you must purge snapshots and remember to always have a backup in case something goes wrong.

To delete a snapshot without removing the project file:

  1. Select the snapshots to delete from the list.
  2. Choose Delete selected snapshots in Action, then click Go.
